Vintner's Dinner
Vintner's Dinner featuring Chef George Patti from Tasters Grille & Market, Chef Freddy Brooker, coming from Nashville and Adam Dread, also from Nashville, will be the evenings Master of Ceremonies & Auctioneer. The Vintner will be none other then Von Strasser himself of Von Strasser Wineries. The event will be held at a private ocean front estate on the Old Highway in Islamorada. Tickets are $150.00 per Person and advanced reservations are required. The event is expected to sell out!

Butler passed hors d'ouevres to start the evening with a Champagne
First Course: Chilled Butternut Squash Soup with Kaffir Lime
Second Course: Truffled Wild Mushroom Risotto with Grilled Scallop
Third Course: Vanilla Scented Tuna with Seaweed Salad and Hoisin Butter Garnished with Red Caviar
Fourth Course: Filet Mignon with Smoked Cheddar Gratin and Boca Tier Vegetables
Dessert: Cheese Plate with Dark Chocolate Pod a Crèmes
Sunday 11/15:
Bloody Mary contest
A Bloody Mary contest will be held at the Hampton Inn/Outback Restaurant in Islamorada from 11:00am to 12:30pm. The contest will celebrate the 75Th Anniversary of the Bloody Mary and is being sponsored by the Hampton Inn, Outback, Grey Goose & Premier Beverage. You can enter your favorite recipe for $25.00. there is a $1,000 in prize money to be awarded in 3 categories: $500.00 to grand champion to be selected by a panel of Local Celebrity Judges. $250.00 to Crowd Favorite...the crowd can vote as they taste a sampling of each Bloody Mary recipe entered into the contest and $250.00 for the "Best Looking" Bloody Mary to again be judged by a local group of Celebrity Judges. The pool will be open and Outback will be serving up a delicious brunch! So bring the kids!
Sunday 11/15:
Grand Tasting
Sunday at 1:00pm the Grand Tasting will be open at the Islander Resort in Islamorada. Stroll the Ocean Front beach as you taste 30-45 different wineries best wines! An even truly not to miss if you enjoy spending the afternoon on the beach and drinking great wines! $45.00 per person and advanced reservations are not required.
